Throughout the history of the Kolkata Province, the Provincial Office has undergone several relocations, reflecting the dynamic nature of its development. Initially established in Shillong upon the inception of the Indian Province, it subsequently moved to various locales due to changing historical circumstances. These transitions included stints at the Catholic Orphan Press within the premises of Calcutta Cathedral, Liluah, Guwahati (during World War II), a return to the Calcutta Cathedral premises, and eventually settling at Don Bosco Park Circus.
In 1973, the acquisition of land previously owned by the Loreto Sisters facilitated the relocation of the Provincial Offices from Park Circus to their current site in Tengra. Officially established on July 4, 1974, and dedicated to St. Francis de Sales, this site serves as the central hub for directing, coordinating, and administering province-wide activities. In addition to housing the provincial staff offices, it accommodates a Correspondence Office and the Province Accounting Department.
