The need to foster vocations from West Bengal led to the opening of the new aspirantate for local vocations, Bengalis and Santals, was held on 31" January 1985. This arrangement, however, could not continue for long, due to the increase in the number of boys. After some search, seven bighas of land are bought, not too far from the present Don Bosco School, for a new Aspirantate which was blessed and inaugurated on On 25th March 1987, on the feast of the Annunciation. Fr. Joseph Gomes was officially installed as rector of the new apostolic school. In 2005 it was reopened for accommodating the Pre-novices and aspirants after the pre-novitiate was closed in Auxilium parish campus and aspirantate from Mirpara campus.
