RAMGARH, 20 Oct, 2025 – More than 100 young Catholics from across the Ramgarh Deanery converged at Mount Assisi School on October 20, 2025, for a transformative convention, highlighted by a Holy Mass celebrated by Most Rev. Bp. Sonatan Kisku, Auxiliary Bishop of Dumka, who called on them to lead with faith and serve with purpose.
Animated by Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB)—Rev. Fr. Nicholas Besra, Br. Praveen, and Br. Robin—the full-day event from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. blended spiritual formation, leadership training, and communal celebration, leaving participants energized to live their faith actively in parish and community life.
The program began with arrival and registration at 8:00 a.m., followed by a lively welcome and introduction led by the SDB team. Rev. Fr. Nicholas Besra, SDB, anchored the morning with a powerful input session from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., diving deep into faith, youth leadership, and Christian values.
After lunch (1:00–2:00 p.m.), Br. Praveen and Br. Robin guided a reflective evaluation session, helping youth process the day’s insights. The spiritual climax came with Holy Mass from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m., presided over by Bishop Kisku, whose homily stressed unity, mission, and joyful witness.
The convention closed at 4:00 p.m. with a grateful vote of thanks and departure. Salesian animators, including Rev. Fr. Nicholas Besra, Br. Praveen, and Br. Robin, celebrated the event’s success in forging stronger bonds and inspiring sustained youth engagement in the Church.
