PRAYER AFTER MEDITATION WEDNESDAY

L:         I walk in the way of your commandments.

A:        Because you have deepened my love of you.

L:         Let us renew our consecration to the Lord; 

            may the light of His countenance shine on our lives.

A:        God our Father, you consecrated me to yourself,

            on the day of my baptism. 

            In response to the love of the Lord Jesus, 

            Your Son, who calls me to follow him more closely, and, led by the Holy Spirit, 

            who is both light and strength, I, with complete freedom, 

            offer myself without reserve to you.

            I pledge myself to live in the Salesian Society, one in Spirit 

            and in action with my brothers, to give of my very best and all I 

            have, to those to whom I shall be sent, especially to poor and 

            abandoned boys, and in this way to have some share, 

            in the life and mission of the Church.

            May the grace of God, the intercession of 

            Mary Help of Christians, of St. Joseph, of St. Francis de Sales, 

            of St. John Bosco, and the help of my Salesian brothers, 

            at all times keep me faithful. Amen.
