Oodlabari , February 15 – The Oodlabari Don Bosco Parish celebrated a historic moment on February 15 with the inauguration and blessing of the new church at Targera Tea Garden. Dedicated to St. Joseph, the church was blessed by Rev. Fr. Antoni Vayalil, Parish Priest, while Rev. Fr. Aju Kurian, Bursar, presided over the Holy Mass. The event marked a significant milestone in the spiritual journey of the local Catholic community.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by approximately 400 faithful from Targera Tea Garden and Oodlabari, along with Sisters from the Missionary Sisters of Mary Help of Christians (MSMHC) community. The Salesian Community of Don Bosco Oodlabari played a pivotal role in organizing the event, ensuring its success and fostering a sense of unity and celebration among attendees.
In his homily, Rev. Fr.
